What's the general consensus here. Do many of you disconnect the sway bar up front for off-road .... and if so, how difficult to get it all connected again? Any such thing as a Quick Disconnect for KJ's? |

Hmm, I can't seem to find the "touchy subject" smiley.... In all seriousness, there is no disconnect currently available for the front swaybar. It only takes 6 bolts to pull it off, so just remove it and throw it in the back when you get to the trail. |

Take it off when you get to your wheeling spot, Try wheeling W/ and W/out it installed and see if it makes enough of a difference for You. I have done many trails Disco'd and connected and most trails it isn't worth doing. Some trails it can help but many other KJ's w/ their bar installed still did the same trail w/out any problems. This topic has been beat to death on this and the old forum if you are wondering about the other replys. Please remember, DO NOT DRIVE ON THE STREET AT SPEED WITHOUT YOUR FRONT SWAYBAR. Please. |
