So I hit a curb due to ice going about 40 mpg. Hibdons said my upper control arm is bent... and it is on the side I did not hit. How is that possible? Alignment really out too.

Id check the cradle and make sure its centered. You have JBA arms right?

Guessing OKC or Tulsa area? Hibdons isn't the best place to have someone figure out what's wrong with your vehicle. Most decent techs stay away from them. Something about the doors being wide open even in winter just doesn't appeal to me.

Okc... so they can not get my jeep back to alignment. Pulls very hard to the left.

Did they check to see if the cradle had moved for sure ?
Buddy had been trying to get his in alignment for quite a while, he had hit a curb at a slow speed. No one had found that the cradle was bumped back on the right side until the guy I use for alignments found it.

What he said.....I hit a hog and shifted my cradle over 1/4 inch. I couldnt ever get the steering wheel to center up without weird feelings at the wheel.

Gave it a good 30 mins looking and noticed "clean" paint turned to "dirty" paint. Shifted it back and everything is good now.

So how would I do that?

Raise jeep...support by frame using jack stands and parking brake

Loosen up the cradle bolts and slide it forward. I used a comealong to help pull it into place. Had a local frame guy check it for me, it's nearly perfect
