I have been able to locate at least one source of noise, the passenger side CV is definately worn, my jeep has 137k on it what are the chances i need to do an intermediate shaft as well, debating on ordering it so i have it but hate to have $110 worth of parts laying around if i dont need it. |

Hard to say for sure if you'd need to replace or not. That said, I've replaced them with less miles than yours and the splines were basically gone. For me I would get one and then you're sure, cheap insurance you know. replacement CV from NAPA ( remanned one ) |

Do not forget the darn seal.. I replaced mine and forgot the seal so I have to take it all apart and put the darn seal on. |
