I installed new OME springs and shocks on me jeep yesterday. Using a tape measure I got the toe angle aligned within a 1/8 inch. (Measuring the front/rear of the front tires) How long should I let the lift "settle" before I get it taken for alignment? Jeep dealer where it will be aligned at is 15 miles away. |

I got mine aligned the next morning. I drove probably 20-25 miles before the alignment. Sent from my LG-D801 using Tapatalk |

Should always get it aligned right away and then again when it settles in good |

I would assume that settling in good would be 1,000 miles or so? |

All depends on type of roads and if you take it out and twist it up good to fully seat everything in. On my own I do right after I install a new one on mine, then in about 750-1000, then again in about 2-3000. |

Lots of things it could be * alignment done incorrectly * worn parts missed by the alignment tech * spacer lift combined with worn out springs and shocks * worn lower rear control arms will make it go down the road like an old woman on roller skates * worn upper rear control arm will as well to a degree Some questions How many miles on the KJ? How long has the spacer lift been on? Tires in good shape or worn ? If shocks and springs have over 55-60,000 miles I would advise never to install a spacer lift due to the springs sagging with age and miles and the shocks due for replacement |

Cross caster could be off. Go thru and loosen all the bolts with the jeep on its own weight, then retorque. You could have "preloaded" the bushings. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk |
