Hi, Got 2005 liberty renegade with 98000 miles. Had a lot of noise from alternator and play in the pulley front to back. Thinking it was the bearings got a ew from napa. when removing it found that it had a decoupler pulley on it and one from napa had solid one. Looking online found no mention of decoupler on this alt . I owned this since new and never changed it. Has any found this on theirs? Put napa unit on and works perfect with no belt jerking as the decoupler is said to prevent. Thanks for any replies |
