Hi,

I have been running for the last 4 years and over 40K miles at the rear OME 948 & NS132L and I have to say up to recently I was happy with them. Over the last 6 months the rear shocks feel like they have gone soft, so I am thinking of swapping them out. OME tend to go a bit soft valved after a while without leaking, mine are not leaking.

My set up at the back is: OME 948 with 2 extra uper isolators and NS132 L

I am looking now to go for JBA 4.0" rear springs ( so take out rear 2 extrra isolators)

Then new shocks, but what should I swap the OME for:

Ironman 4" Rear Long

Or

Bilstein 4" lift Heavy Duty Rear.

Up front I have OME NS131 + NS790 + Bolier top plate 3/8 + 2 clevis rings and stand at around 3.5 Inc ~ ( I am a CRD but 2.5 so weigh about 300Kg less)

I would like some recomendations from you guys. I have already the Y link fitted at the back.

Fil.

Going to 4 inch rear springs maybe a bit much for most lifts.
With a 3-3.5 inch lift the rear is going to be an inch or more higher than the front.
With say the RRO mentioned above and any miles on it, going to be a good bit of difference friont to back
I have my front at over 4 inches of lift and it sits level
For example mine ( black one ) with 4.25 inches in front , sitting pretty much level with the rear JBA 4 inch springs

Tom,

So do you thing I should just swap out the OME 132 L for a set of New Ironman 4' (keeping the OME 948 colis) to get a bit less of a soft ride at the back of the KJ?

I don't really mine the KJ being taller at the back but I see your point also.
