Hey guys I'm going to be replacing my intermediate shaft and cv's. Can I slide the passenger cv/intermediate shaft out as one piece after I remove the knuckle? Or do I have to pop the diff cover off somehow?

When I pulled my right CV, the intermediate shaft came out with it. No need to remove the diff cover.

This was my replacement CV and intermediate shaft (a low mileage junkyard find!):
