I nearly flipped my kj a while back, dug the passenger side rim into the ground and teetered on the nose I now have tire rubbing on that side at full lock, but no rubbing with I turn the opposite direction on the other side. I am curious to where I should measure from to check for a shifted ifs cradle or possibly bent or misaligned lca

I would check all the tie rods and arms before suspect the cradle. I found out with the bad LBJ I had tie rods that were jacked... Turn at full lock and a wheel would skip. |

Take it to a good Alignment shop Plus if it has shifted you should be able to tell on the frame where it was and where it moved |

I didn't have any tire rubbing but I did notice one wheel would turn farther then the other. With 265/75 I have over a 1" of space between the front and back of the tire. |

Any chance you know how much space you have when you turn from side to side? I also measured from my front frame crossmember to the front cradle bolts and it looks like is could me a few mm's to half a cm off, but definitely causing tire rub. Don't know the difference and can't measure because my front end is disassembled. Have you taken in to a alignment shop? |

Yes got an alignment and it got the tire off the unibody a good bit but I still suspect a shifted cradle because I bent the tab the alignment washers sit on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
