I have a 2006 CRD with a 196k miles that will not crank. The security
light is staying solid red but will not engage. All the power is fine but it just wont do anything. Please help

First post over in 'CRD...Love that Torque' - you'll get more diesel responses also click - no crank? or no click? have you stress tested the battery? - this is all Liberty's - you have to turn on the computer - before you can turn on the engine - and the computer is very voltage sensitive. the security lock will normally let you start and run about 8-10 secs and then die. |
