2006 Jeep Liberty CRD Wont Crank

I have a 2006 CRD with a 196k miles that will not crank. The security :evil:

light is staying solid red but will not engage. All the power is fine but it just wont do anything. Please help

have you stress tested the battery? - this is all Liberty's - you have to turn on the computer - before you can turn on the engine - and the computer is very voltage sensitive.

the security lock will normally let you start and run about 8-10 secs and then die.
