Post subject:  Question concerning having suspension lift and towing

I am considering a full suspension lift for my 2005 KJ Renegade. I use it to tow my utility trailer (works well in the mountains. besides over the highway), with a total weight of trailer and load of about 4200 lbs. How much difference is there in the handling of towing with the lift between a stock KJ and a lifted one? Is there a difference in how the Rusty's lift or the Frankenlift when towing, and which one is performing/handling better?
Also what is the difference in the handling between having Rancho struts on the Frankenlift and OME struts?

With a little luck I'm planning on ordering within the next week. I also am considering a set of the boulder bars, and All J's interior rack.
:D

Be sure to get the HD rear coils with the ome lift. I would not get the rustys lift, I just think OME is of much better quality.

What really matters is the tongue weight of the trailer. With my HD rear coils, I can get around 400-450lbs on the rear before it starts to sag. BUT, I only have the front OME lift, not the franken lift. The thing with the franken lift is the front is level or even higher than the rear, so it doesnt take much to make the rear look like its sagging really bad. Be sure to get the light duty ome coils on the front so its not so high. The ome shocks are not that good with weight, they seem to bounce more than I like with a load. The stock shocks were stiff as crap, but were great for towing. I have no experience with rancho. Good luck!

My travel trailer weight like half of that empty, but I've had no issues towing with a Daystar lift and Ranchos.
