Ok ready go!!!!!

Raises the tri-link up enough that there is no binding on the bushings. Been running one for a little while now. Mine actually sat a little higher after install due to the tri-link pulling and keeping the rear down.

Wasnt there a guy somewhere making a new tri-link that was lowered? Or did I imagine that?

Necessary? Well that can be debated for pages I'm sure
But when you get 2.75-3 inches the Tri-Link has some bind to it by then. 3.5-4 inches its on a bind just sitting still in the garage. With that said I ran at 4 inches for at least 150,000-160,000 and didn't have one. I also went through a few Tri-links as well

Think I'll give it a go and share my results with you all. Tom or John did you notice improved rear flex?

Didnt really check or measure for flex. I'm sure it helped ! When I unbolted the Tri-link from the Diff it was under tension. It sprang up when the last bolt came out.

You guys think this will help my boomerang last longer, or is it even necessary with a plain OME lift?

I installed mine with a Junkyard boomerang about 1 1/2 years ago, and its still holding up. My rear lift is a 2 1/2" spring lift with 2 extra isolators for a total of 3 1/2"s.

Really like mine - I had to add a couple of washers to the rear mounting bolts of the sway bar due to contact with the extension piece.
