I've seen a handful of guys saying you can run TJ adjustable lowers on the rear of the KJ. All the ones I've seen used the RE3715. I happen to have a few of them (newer bushing style) that I rebuilt the flex joints on. My stock lowers are toast, so I'm thinking of using my RE3715's. Is it just a direct swap, or will I have any surprises pop up? I just want to make sure I'm not going to need anything special before I start. Are guys using the bolts that come with the arms, or the factory KJ bolts?

Arb Seth was one of the main ones I've seen talking about them, but it was never mentioned what needed to be done to fit. I guess I'm going to find out this weekend

Will do. They've got to be better then my stock lowers. I'm getting tired of accidentally changing lanes when I speed up or slow down

I measured some tj lowers my buddy had when he uninstalled a lift the sell and I recall they where a bit longer but I don't have the exact number . Was thinking some adjustable ones may work.

Stock lowers are fairly cheap and last quite a while, not seeing the benefit unless you have them already laying around

I already have them lol. Actually 2 pair. Stock tj lowers are 15 3/4" eye to eye, and most aftermarket fixed are 16-16.25". As long as the adjustables use the same size or larger bolt it would work. My re arms extend to 19", so they are plenty long. Agreed it wouldn't be worth buying them over stock arms, but they are free

What has been the end result of this? I am interested to know if they do indeed work or what is involved to make them work. I'm tired of the 2003 rectangular tubes filling with loam and dead wood that I am driving over on the trails.
