04 v6 sport with 2k on new thermostat and water pump. Needle runs just a bit below half way but when I run the a/c it gets hot while driving. At stop lights it drops down between 3/4 and half way then goes back up when I start moving again. The a/c blows cold air consistantly while the engine temps go up. The coolant doesn't boil over and I double checked the fans to see if they were running, that all checked out. It started after wheeling in fine dirt when I was camping. I cleaned out the fans and the compressor with no change. Could my a/c compressor be the culprit? |

Radiator and/or condenser plugged with dirt? or a coolant flow issue. |
