Post subject:  2 questions about lifts.
Okay, I haven't been around in a long while as I went on to an LJ (gone now for a Ram 1500 for towing) and the wife got the KJ. I have a couple question regarding lifts and A arms. Had the KJ in for the state inspection and they are telling my I have a loose upper ball joint on the drivers side. I know I need tires soon on it too and figured no alignment until I get the ball joint situation cleaned up. So here are my 2 questions:

1. how long should an OME lift last? Not the Franken... just the coils and shocks. Added mine years ago but I am sure it's settled some since then.
2. Are JBA A Arms still the go to in KJ replacements with lifts and do you think I should go to these with my older lift kit or just replace the ball joint in my standard arms? My wife drives this thing 2 miles a day but I still want it right.

First glad to see you are still alive and kicken' :wink:
JBA UCAs are still the ones to go to yes.
If staying stock you have to replace the whole arm can't just replace the ball joint
As far as how long the OME suspension will last , my first 927/948 combo pasted 100,000 before I upgraded ( although it had settled about 1/2 to 3/4 inch
Where is your KJ sitting now in front ( middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare)
