Thank you in advance.

Doesn't work well on a CRD , plus the age of yours I'd just upgrade to new springs and shocks , only way to do it right

I did just upgrade to TJM Struts, shocks and springs, front and rear. Lifted the rear end up 1.5" or so. About 1/2" in the front is all. Thought I would try this? Knowing I have these newly installed, do you think it, OK to try?

it'll work for a while - year or two - depends on how you drive

(work great for mall-crawlers)

as the springs cycle - they will sag

the Daystar pre-loads the spring so coils are closer together and every time it compresses and the coils hit - they lose strength

I don't see a spring rate on TJM's website

stock gasser springs are 300 lb/in
stock CRD are 410 lbs/in

OME CRD springs (790's) are 500 lb/in - they work great they're 1 1/2" longer than stock

but you get about 2 1/2" of lift because they're stiffer.

How much lift did the TJM springs give you?
May be too much to include a spacer style lift. Plus you'll be preloading the spring

I agree - too much

this kit appears to be spacers only.

without the Daystar top plate - I doubt that you can even assemble the front.

you already have 30mm longer springs compressed onto the front shock

if you try to add 1 1/2" of spacer -

I think you'd coil bind the assembly just trying to put the top bolt on.

Crap!!! Any other options for a small leveling kit out there? I only got about 1/2" with the TJM. Much less than advertised. I really like the ride though. Would jut like an inch or so to level and for tires. Nothing radical or offroad yet.

P.S. What is a "Clevis" lift and who makes them?

I don't know the TJM kit, but what about doing a clevis lift or adding a top plate? That will allow you to add height to the front to help level it out.

Researched "Clevis" lifts and ordered a set from JBA (.500)? Any problems here? Supposedly it will give me about 1". Perfect for me.

I will be traveling shortly and want to get this complete ASAP. Reason for the fast order. Apt. on Monday at shop. With the Holidays, I do not want to reschedule.

You could have saved some money and bought 2" conduit nuts. Each 1 is 1/8" so you add 4 for 1/2" to get the 1" of desired lift. It's a really easy install. Just make sure they align the Jeep again.
