If this isn't the right place, please let me know. My daughter has a 05 crd liberty it started doing something strange today and need help. It's missing and stalling at idle. This is our first crd and I know a little but not a lot. I'm kinda hoping for the best and expecting the worse. I done a little research online everyone says you guys on this forum is the best around. id like to post a video but not sure how to. |

https://vimeo.com/120542716 Just a side note, when it died it shut off on its own and normally when it shuts off there's some knocking to go with it. The oil was changed 2 months ago and is good on amount but the oil is completely black and seems really thin to me... I havnt changed the fuel filter yet but I'm picking one up tomorrow. Howdy Jeeps dad try re-posting over in the 'CRD...Love that Torque' that's the main Diesel section. try including a location - in case someones close and do you have proof the timing belt was changed? mileage doesn't really matter - it's 10years old the belts are designed for 6. completely black oil is normal if the EGR still works when you're bored -the Noob guide has a lot of information http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=54207 |
