| Post subject: | funky power lock behavior |
My power door locks have been acting funky lately. Used to be I could be in park with the engine running and unlock all doors with the switch on driver's side door, recently haven't been able to do that. Now need to turn Jeep off, remove key and then can use the switch on the door, or the key fob to unlock doors. More recently when I do hit the switch on the door to unlock all doors, the lock tabs will go up, then back down again, locking ALL doors. On subsequent tries, it'll open all locks and stay that way. Yesterday, while driving home, all door locks UNLOCKED suddenly then a few miles later, re-locked themselves... What gives? I'm guessing a short somewhere, just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this to narrow down where to start looking. Thanks. |
