Hello all, new member here so forgive me if this have been talked to death. I've searched for it and couldn't find any info. I have a new to me again 2004 KJ. It has the stock 2.4L four cylinder engine. I know they're rated at about 150 hp and get about 22 down the highway from what I've read. However I am looking for any further info. All my searching brings me to the world engine, and to my understanding the 2004's were not the world engine. Is there any info out there about the reliability of this engine. Mine will have at least 146,000 miles on it when I get it back, but it has been well taken care of. Is there anyway to increase the power or mileage? Any info that's out there would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
