Good Morning All:We have just completed two weeks of wheelin in Moab, Ut. and our little Libby did great. No major damage to the body, just minor damage to the plastic, my question, the brackets that the trailing arms attached to got smished a little, are there after market pivot points available for this. The trails we were on are rated a five by the Jeep Safari and a three by FMCA 4 wheelers, of which we are members. Bruce

design your own! grab some plate steel, long bolts, thin walled tube as a through frame bushing, and make yourself some bolt on "slider skids" that you can remove in the even you need to remove your lca. I really should stop publicly giving my ideas away. Or not, lol, I'm a sweet heart, I will add this to my must make list that keeps getting longer and longer. Watch in the next couple of months for a "rear lca slider" to get fab'd up. Can't say i'll make something sellable for ya, but like you, I smash those mounts all the time. Feel free to copy whatever I make. |

Whitby, I disagree whole heartedly with you about your ideas, as I'm sure others will also. I like your idea and it is probably the only solution, the problem is right now is that we are full time rv'rs and we are traveling right now. We will be returning to home base sometime in the fall, and then the work will begin. I really like your UCA project and want one when completed. Bruce |

No disrespect, I am not sure I understand. You like the idea of tiny skids for the mounts or you don't? It's good to hear that words out there for the uca project. Full time RV'ers? Like full time travelling?? I'm jealous |

Yes I like the idea of protecting the pivot point of the locating arms. We live in our Motorhome, our moto is " home is where we park it " Bruce |

Oh! Awesome! So you would need a way to install a protective device that requires a minimal use of heavy equipment? (Welders, etc) All the better an awesome challenge on my end! I love a challenge! |
