Hey guys,

Just got done fixing the jeeps needs. Now I have a want that is somewhat of a need. I have a XRC8 (and M8000 that is possible getting swapped on), but I want to get synthetic winch (steel cable is shot) and i want to save on weight.

What are peoples opinions on a safety thimble (I can eye splice it on myself), I think I would rather have that over a standard hook. Considering I will save weight, but I am really also doing it for the sake of someone else not messing with a hook on the front when im out.
