Yep.
You get 4 inches of water on the floor.

First thing I needed was a friends garage, as mine is full of building materials and it was still pouring down rain.

OK, some questions.
1.) I removed the pillar/grab handle on the drivers side to let the rest of the water out of the overhead. It was dripping down into my fuse block on the end of the dash assembly, and the horn was disturbing the neighbors.
The black tube attaches to the sunroof drain at the top, it's clear of debris, and I can insert several feet of plastic string trimmer line down the tube before I hit resistance.
I assume that's either a plug of debris or the exit has some sort of issue, but I can't see or access the end of the tube. I think it's hidden up under the dash and exits thru the firewall or into the fender spaces.
Is there any way to access the lower end of the drain without taking the dashboard out?
The service manual is really generic, and I have no clue how accurate it is since the rear drain lines in real life route nowhere near the illustration or description in the manual.

2.) How do I remove the center floor console from the Liberty?
I took off the console storage box cover, and removed the storage box.
I took the shifter trim cover off and removed 1 screw on the right side of the shifter, inside the console.
I removed 2 nuts at the front of the console at the studs under the cigar lighter/storage/AC panel area after removing the fan/AC trim panel.
And the console is still attached to the truck.
What do I do next? I need to get the console out to reinstall the carpet edges under it.

3.) I removed the front/rear seats to pull the carpet and padding. It's taking that foam padding forever to dry out.
Is there anything clever/useful I ought do under there before I reinstall the padding/carpeting? I was thinking about maybe adding some Dynamat sound-dampening under the padding, but I'm not sure whether it's worth it.

Any advice about issues here from anyone who's done this before would be swell.

Thanks for reading/considering my problem here.

I haven't seen the workings of my sunroof for sometime but I'll tell you what I remember and hope it's helpful. There's a trough that collects the water and sends it away through four hoses at the corners. I believe the hoses exit inside the fenders behind the plastic fenderwell. Someone checked into a forum with a loose trough which leaked badly. His two retaining screws were completely loose but still there. They're at the front corners of the trough. The back of the trough clips in somehow. The book warns about getting it placed above the inner sunshield so there must be room to jam it in there wrong.

Maybe you could blow a mouthfull of water through a tube into each of the four drains and see which ones flow to the floor to isolate the problem.

Middle console has two screws inside the flip top cubby, two screws under the cup holder that pulls out easily, and the two fasteners you mentioned up front which I'd forgotten about.

I off-road mine more than I drive it on the road, so I left the carpet out and drilled two one inch drain holes in the floor boards and used generic rubber plugs (like on the diff) to cover the hole.
