I am looking for a set of steel wheels for my 2003 KJ which most references say is a 16” X 7” – 4/5”X5 bolt pattern, 38mm offset and a 71.5 mm bore. <= correct that if needed.

I found a set off a 1998 Cherokee, which the owner says are 16”. My research says the width, bolt pattern and bore are identical but I have found conflicting information on the offset. One reference says it is a “Medium Offset” and another says 15mm

Can I use these wheels? I intend to mount a fairly aggressive snow tire in the 215 to 235 range.

The wheels are a 45 minute drive away and the picture sent shows black wheels. I guess I will make the trip as I have not found any thing near the price asked - $80 for 4.

Check backspacing on them if they are not OEM wheels
Maybe they painted them ??
So whats going to happen to your present wheels?

The picture he sent is of stock wheels, so they should be OK.

I am keeping the wheels as I will need them for my "street" tires. And if I do sell them, they will not be cheap, as they are Chrome Alloys. I have already be offered (unsolicited) $200 so I think they are worth a bit more than that.

I saw what they were not that of an expensive wheel
just thought if you were going to sell them they could be painted in somewhat of a better color like dark gray
