At 115k my suspension was shot. I replaced everything. I had a ome 2.5 inch lift Ive installed JBA UCA, new LCA, Front adjust a strut system, rear 4 inch, new "boomerang" with jba rear upper mount spacer I replaced brake lines with jba's 4 inch kit, replaced rear lca's wth moog, new swaybar bushing and links, new hubs. I replaced ujoints and front prop shaft cv. I installed new front cv's (reman) and front axle seals, replaced front intermediate shaft. Replaced rack and pinion. After installing the adjust a strut system with jba uca, My front right cv was lightly binding and causing the differential to shift when front right was off ground. I had removed too much material in the uca pocket i guess. I decreased front lift height to lessen spring load on lca/cv. My front right axle end was leaking. I replaced that cv with remaned and relaced seals. I installed bearing instead of plastic bushing in axle end. I am considering welding material into uca pocket to control downward motion. Or buying the jba shaved cv. The front right crd cv is extremely (imho) expensive, is this worth it? If i buy this i can remove additional material, and perhaps level my vehicle. I blew up my transfer case last week, and I believe it was partially due to that cv binding. My question, is the jba cv worth it? Am i stupidly trying to achieve something this vehicle is incapable of? |
