Sometime ago I noticed that my fuel gauge on my 04 Jeep Liberty Sport wouldn't indicate full even after visiting the gas station to top up the tank. I didn't think much of it and made a mental note to possibly pulling the fuel sender unit to troubleshoot the problem.
Then I happened to read an Internet post that claimed that using ethanol fuel can sometimes cause erroneous fuel gauge readings.
Since switching to non-ethanol fuel only I don't seem to have the problem anymore.
Has anybody else had similar experience with ethanol fuels?
