In preparation of adding a switch for driving lights and some electronics I have been looking at how to get into the dash.
There are two panels labeled one place as Driver's Side Trim Bezels, one on each side of the steering column. The website said: "Using a trim stick or equivalent, disengage the bezels on either side of the steering column". Is a small flat blade screwdriver an acceptable equivalent for a trim stick?

Should work ok. They've only got a couple of spring clips holding them. Wider screwdriver might work better. Use a little padding to keep from scratching the plastic.
