Anyone have any experience with them in the long term? Currently running medium OME coils all around with 2 conduit nuts in front and no extras in back. Front measures in at 20" and back is a little less at 19.75. I've had the OME for close to 50K with lots of off road use so it has taken its toll on the springs. Basically want to revive the somewhat dead suspension in the rear especially and get back some of the off road ride quality and level the Jeep out again. I figure the 2.5" coils will raise the rear higher than the front, so I was considering adding the JBA 1/4" strut spacer set until I ultimately upgrade to JBA coilovers down the road. Also will continue to run 245/75s along with stock bumpers. Thanks in advance |

Mine sagged fast. I was told by JBA that they are factory spring rate. Best bet is some custom HD springs. Ask anyone who has ran them, they hold up the weight good. Much higher spring rate than stock and still gives you a nice ride. Note: I dont personally make them, I dont have the space nor money to have those types of machines. I run the 4 inch with the coilover shocks ( Monroe Sensatracs) had a RL rear bumper, always NATO can full of gas, Kilby skid, 3-400 lbs extra in the back have over 65,000 miles on them and still right about where they were when installed maybe 1/4 inch lower |

I guess I wouldn't be too opposed to going to HD OME coils even though I don't have plans for metal bumpers/winch any time soon. I am pretty well armored up underneath with rock sliders though. I know about the custom KK HD springs, but wasn't sure if they were compatible in KJs |

Actually I can them to fit either the KJ or the KK. Theres 4 KJs just in Houston alone that run them, 1 with 2.5", 2 with 4" and another with 5.5". Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk |

gottorque wrote: Thats what I thought. Going with OME HD coils Just food for thought Stock KJ are 150 OME MD 947 are 170 OME HD 948 are 200 Custom HDs are a bit more. Stock KK are 200 OME 730 are 240 OME 731 are 280 Again Custom HD are a bit more That being said, the 948s are $180ish new. You can't touch HD springs for that, but you dont need any load adjusting short travel shocks, or worry about your back end being loose and saggy. Thus why I contacted them to make us some. Wanted maximum travel and best ride. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk |

You have to remeber, Tom runs the load adjusting coilover shocks in the rear, so of course his will hold up weight, because the shocks are doing the heavy lifting. But for you, grab some 948s or some shocks like tom has. Either one will work well for you and be a good ride. Seems like I have a few sets of 948s people have left overhere because they love the HD, might be able to let a set go. Have to check and see what all is out there Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk |

My 132Ls and Bilstiens up front are still in pretty good shape as far as I know so no need for replacement ;as much as I'd like a nice set of resi shocks, its not in the budget. Currently wanting to just replace some of the worn out suspension parts for reliability reasons. |
