my part time 4x4 doesn't work. The light comes on but 4x4 doesn't kick in. whats the deal? |

What about full time, neutral, and 4-low? Could be a problem with the lever and linkage or could be a problem with the transfer case. Get all four wheels up on jack stands, start the engine, put it in 4wd, and put it in drive. Then see if the front wheels spin. |

Didn't try low range or neutral but full time works. |

Ok. Dumb question... How do you know that full-time is working? Or... What makes you think that part-time isn't working? |
