I have an 05 libby and am considering a locker for the front. After searching the site, it looks like the Detroit True Trac is a good choice.

A local 4WD place gave me a price of $369 I think which didn't sound too bad but he said the install was about $500. I about chocked and then said that I wasn't too interested at that price.

Does that sound about right? Any other options. There seems to be quite a bit of info on the price of the locker's but it appears the install is a bigger deal than the hardware.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

Al

that sounds very steep
i dont know about the KJ dana 30 but i had an arb installed in the front he installed the locker and ran the hose into the jeep through the fire wall and i did the rest but he still had to do more work than installing a tru trac and he only charged me $300 including new front brake pads
if you have to drop the front diff then i could see a few extra bucks but $500 is a little much
