Would anyone be able to suggest a reasonably priced working code reader for Liberty/Cherokee CRD 2006? Reasonably priced meaning in 200..300 €/$ range, and preferably future proof with SW updates. I've used ELM 327, but it seems to have it's own life at least with iOS SWs. Sometimes reads a DTC, but never all of them. I would like to use it for other (European) cars also, so I guess it narrows down the options. Anyone used LAUNCH CRP123 or 129? Manufacturer customer service responded they are not compatible, and two retailers said they should be... |

I went finally for Autel Maxicom MK808 (an entry level garage tool). Seems to function pretty OK with -06 CRD reading also most of the proprietary codes. + I should be able to use it also with my other current and future wheels. |
