I have heard that it is 2.5" and 3.25".

I never measured my jeep, but now I am curious how much it usually is.

Well, if your KJ was built prior to April '02 it sits a little over 3/4" higher than models built afterwards and the franken-lift will give you roughly 2 1/2" of lift.

If your KJ was built after that then the franken-lift will give you roughly 3 1/4" of lift.

Make sense? :)

Ok, that makes a lot more sense, thanks.

huh?

Isn't the frankenlift a full spring/shock replacement lift? It shouldn't matter what factory height springs you have as you are replaceing them anyway right? With a new suspension 2.5" is 2.5" whether it's an 02 or an 04. Or so I thought anyway. :?:

The stock suspension height is different from the 02-04. Soo... if you had a shorter stock assembly, you actually gain 3.25" .... if you had the higher stock assembly, you only gain 2.5".

Still puzzled. Only difference between 02 and 04 height is spring height. If you replace them on both year vehicles with identical springs you have identical lift heights.

your right speck the o2 and 04 will be the same height--but the 02 is taller then the o4 before the lift so the height gain is more on a 04 get it?

Right, they end up the same but they did not start out the same height. So the newer model has to be getting more lift in comparison to the other...
