So I installed the frankenlift and all is well. But recently I noticed that if I turn very sharply at low speeds I get a shuddering noise & feeling from the frontend. I have stock-size tires, so I doubt it's a rubbing issue. Anyone have any thoughts of what it could be?

Check your inside sidewalls and your swaybar for some clean spots. My stock tires rubbed there and made a shuddering like feeling until I put on the Moabs.

I guess I'm confused about the geomerty in the front....I didn't rub like that before I lifted, I would have thought that lifting wouldn't cause more rubbing with the same tires...

How can I put this? Hold your arms straight out horizontally. Thats your KJ control arms unlifted, and your fists are your wheels.

Now put on a lift and angle your arms towards the floor. Your arms are the same length, but your fists just moved in closer towards your body.

Thats the best I can do after a few beers.

Makes perfect sense. Should have occurred to be before, actually, considering how much work it was fitting the springs in there (realizing that when you swing the lower control arm down, the clevis bolt location swings in, making the spring contact the body).

So how much narrower would you say the track width is now that I lifted it?
