I've been looking for a trail rack for my Libby, similar to the ones made for the Wrangler, and can't seem to find one. At this point I am looking for either a spare tire mounted one or one that mounts to the door, basically any option... Will the Wrangler spare tire mounted trail racks work for our Libbys? I believe they are called the euro trail racks... Anyone? Thanks, James |

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, but there are 3 hitch-mounted cargo racks on the bottom of this page: http://www.youngs.org/kjparts/default.asp?category=15 I don't know that any of them has been tried w/ a KJ, but at least one of them (the RRO one) is supposed to work. |

Just so no one is confused, Garvin makes the Wilderness rack. |

The swing gate on the KJ is not very strong and it would be very bad to add any extra weight to it. My tires are just barely (1/2") larger than stock and my door sags a little bit. |

Good to know... that takes away the bolt on option and the spare tire mounted option... thanks! I'll consider this thread closed... James |
