Post subject:  Heading home for a month...
Hey there! It's been a long time but I am coming home on Aug 25 for about a month before I head off to Germany for 3 years :shock: I would love to see you all one last time and I am sure the KJ would love to get out before it takes the journey to the autobahn... If we have any runs planned or if anyone would like to just go out exploring one weekend during that time let me know! :D I plan on camping in Young again one of those weekends too so if anyone is interested just chime in here! Hope I get to see/talk to you soon.

Welcome home!!!

Pick a date and name a trail, we'll be there. Roland and I found a nice camp site on FS 486, about 1.5 miles west of 288 we'd like to try. If you know somewhere else, that's even better.

Sorry, we'll just be getting back from our trip to Ouray. Won't have the time to unpack and make a run Sep 12 or 13th.

Good luck on your new assignment to Germany and do as much traveling throughout Europe as you can. It's really picturesque and charming over there. You'll enjoy it. I spent 7 years in France as a kid, never had the $$$ to go back when I was an adult.

Ever been to the cliff dwellings in the sierra anchas off cherry creek road? A little four wheeling and hiking. Or there is a trail off Norcross road between 288 and punkin center to an old cabin and some ruins I have been meaning to try
I could be up for either 9/5-9/6 or 9/12-13

That sounds like a good place, I have never been there. The weekend of the 12-13 would be better for me cause I think I might do the rim to rim this weekend then do some rafting at the Grand Canyon... :shock:
