Hey Vern I did not forget about you! Just a busy holiday weekend but the hitch install guys will get to me soon!

FYI- Vern had asked for a hitch install quote for his wifey's Beetle--

How is that Jeep related- Well big time related- If Vern through me can help his wife then she is more inclined to be supportive of his LOSTER's activities!!

And that is important!!

Hitch is unfortunately pricey and there is an availability scenario but most doable if you really need.

I'm glad to help but eventually there is a special situation when it comes to VW Beetle convertibles.

Remember all this is all geared for "freedom to wheel" for Vern so bear with all this!

P/N 24679 Class I mini reciever, 2000lbs (rating for MKV Golf base unistructure is 1.7K I believe), 1 1/4" sq rec
Part only- $208 + free shipping if you go normal ground , right up to your neighborhood company owned U-Haul center. Needs to be ordered none avail in the Southwest.

Labor is 1 hour install - here in Phx is $60 but if you were here and I did this for you - Free as I like you!

Wiring $17 plus .8 hr again see Free offer!

Ball $8.95

Drawbar $19.95 P/N 3593 again avail in tucson--

Is this VW 2004 or older ? if not wiring kit is $50 for the part--
