Yeah, we can head down together.

Has a time been picked yet for this shindig? My vote would be for 9am ish. I really don't want to wake up to early. You know, I need my beauty sleep.

AJ- You and your family's health concerns come first and good for you to help out and make sure Beth makes all those appointments. It's the right thing to do.

Meanwhile~~~ I have been tweaking my schedule and after much debate with the bosses I am taking off Thursday, 3 June, But I have to work Wednesday and back to work on Friday. Soo...
I am in!! I will make this but only as a 1 day deal.
So I will propose to Tim if he can lose a little beauty sleep and we will leave out of the Phoenix area early on Thursday.

Man, it is hard to pass up a run!

I am going to Chiva Falls this Thursday. Anyone who wants to go is invited. The trail is not very long from what I understand and there is a 70 foot waterfall at the end. Skid plates are needed here. After the run we will go back to my house and BBQ....anyone needing to stay the night the night before or after is welcome. I have one extra full size bed and another room that I can throw the air mattress down in. Short notice holla back.

Opppps.... Ernie... I have to drop out. Beth reminded me last night of an appointment she has for a procedure on her back next week. Because of the drugs they give her during the procedure, she isn't allowed to drive afterward. I have to take her to the appointment. Roland That was my plan. My vote was to meet in Tuck-son around 9am. That means I would be on the road by 6am. Should be plenty of time to deal with traffic (hopefully). Don't really want to have to leave any earlier than 6am (you know beauty sleep and all), but can if you peeps want to meet earlier than 9am.

Tim : Lets do the LOVES truck stop on Sunburst road in the South East Valley -- the exit after the I10 / 202 mixmaster-- same exit as Wild Horse Pass Casino but you turn left over the bridge instead. It is the only place open and doable than more into the City. Be there and we will depart at 0715 for old Tucson. You do have a CB? Ch 4 if so. You will have places for fuel in Tucson but you will notice $$$ will be lower.... I will need to find Diesel. Any and all out of Phoenix is welcome!! See you in th old pueblo Ernie! Roland

Loves truck stop at 7:15. I am cool with that. You are not one of these CRD guys that only goes 55 mph for maximum MPG's are you? I am no speed demon, but I do enjoy traveling the speed limit Hey if you have a cell phone PM me your number just in case. I plan on leaving with plenty of time to make it there but traffic always concerns me heading anywhere east of the 101 Can't wait to get off the pavement. Haven't been out since my trip to Moab.

WOW!!! You described him exactly, except for his occasional 'high speed' sprints ABOVE the legal speed limit to blow the cobwebs out of his (cough, cough) little four banger.... I got my appointments mixed up... Beth's appointment was yesterday, mine is Thursday. I'm taking the JK in this morning for the post re gear 500 mile check. I believe I may have developed a noise caused by the gears when I let off the gas. We'll see what they say. I'll let you know if they give me the green light. If they do I'll reschedule my appointment and see everyone at Love's in the AM.

Okay so Roland and Tim for Thursday! If you guys want we can meet at 9am at the shopping center at Tanque Verde Rd and Sabino Canyon Rd. I would say get gas before there because gas in that area seems to always be high priced.
