Did you end up getting the powdercoating you wanted or did you paint it yourself?

FYI $600 is cheaper than the one I quoted thats true, but mine was quoted shipped, and with $90 additional option crossbars which you don't have on yours. That rack's option level (light tabs only) by me is $465, plus about $140 shipping, but it would be bare aluminum. Then you probably would have to spend $50-100 to get it powdercoated, or $15 to rattle can it yourself.

By going with me you get one designed to the KJ roof, not adapted to it, and it would have pathways inside for wiring. Don't get me wrong I think it looks fine, but lets play fair if we're comparing mine to a local custom shop. It is a lot easier to make something and build it to one vehicle than it is to make something you can ship that looks and fits like it was meant to be on the roof. They need to be side by side before you say which is "cheaper".

Looks good though, enjoy it!

Boiler there is no reason to defend your products. Beside they didn't come out and say your name.

and this guy was a professional too. he does all the work himself and it was more than i c0uldve asked for. and i wasnt talking about you by the way i was targeting that towards the people looking for a rack but didnt want to pay for the mounting brackets and a basket. so i wanted to spread the word on the az forums. sheesh

im sure hes more than willing to make more. his email is crossedup1@gmail.com and his name is mike. mention that you heard about him from me and mention my kj to spark his memory. he does all the work himself at his shop out on ajo way and country club. or call him up 520 741 1580

he kept my car for alittle over 3 days and built it on my vehicle. he didnt take measurements then build it he kept my jeep the whole time. go to his site too. crossedupoffroad.com and you can see some of his work its really amazing for him being the only guy who does it.
