Post subject:  Wheel Spacers

So I was wondering. I have my wheels and like them very much, but would also like them to stick out of the wheel well a bit, just to ensure no rubbing when I put bigger tires on (from: 225/70/16 to: 255/70/16). I was looking at wheel spacers. I was just wondering what you all thought of them. If they arer worth it, do they do any damage, and what width should I get if I get them? Let me know what you think guys.

Well spacer typical do not correct any rubbing. Just create rubbing in other areas.

Using original wheels on the KJ, wheel spacers aren't going to help much on the front. Just crank your wheel tight each direction, and imagine the wheel being an inch or so farther out. They're going to rub. But I'm using Spidertrax 1'1/4" spacers on the rear with stock wheels and I love it. The extra width looks cool  and helps with stability, especially if you've got a lift. :)
