Going to buy a cold air intake for the 2003 kj and wanted to know all the parts and stuff i will need and how to instal etc... thanks guys! |

Make sure it really is a cold air intake. Meaning that the air filter has a housing (like the stock one). Because then it would suck all the hot air from the engine, which would make it a HOT air intake. |

umm....didn't you just post a thread on the same basic subject? Make you own CAI. Add a duct from the grill area back to the stock air box (search gutter mod) and a nice drop-in air filter like an Amsoil Ea series (EaA201) and you will have a nice flowing, cold air intake for Cheap and it will be protected from underhood heat. |

If you look at the design of the so called Cold Air Intake it sits inside the engine compartment so I call it Hot Air intake, it does absolutly nothing for the KJ leave your air intake right where it is Above Sea Level. |
