| Post subject: | vibration when slowing down... |
Low frekvent vibrations ocours when I slow down/decellerate or braking. It have nothing to do whith the brakes, because it hapens even whithout braking. But using the brakes makes it vibrate more. And it vibrates even if I put the gear stick in N. It sounds like a wheel bearing, but it seems to come from the gearbox. Any ideas what it can be? Oh, it´s a -05 CRD Sport. And please let me know if I spell something wrong, I need to learn english better... |

hmm could it be a rotor possibly? I had a warped rotor that really shook the crap out of me when I would just drive and then it got really bad when I braked. So I changed out my rotors and my problem went away. |

OK. But what is a rotor? Is it the oilfilled "clitch"/converter? Expensive, difficult? Can it be replased in a normal garage? |

Well, it looks like you are right about this. The rear brake pads are worn down allmost to the metall. I also adjusted the parking brake. Can the parking brake wire be adjusted, or is it only inside the brake drum? |

I think the parking brake can be adjusted but I'm not positive. Hawk brakepads are good but Cryotech makes some I believe that are the best. |

The park brake is adjusteble thrue a hole in the back of the drum. Maybe it shall be adjusted near the park brake handle before I adjust inside the drum. But I can´t find any adjusting screw for that. |
