Hello fellow Liberty owners...
I am from the mountains of North Carolina and the new owner of an '02 Jeep Liberty Limited. Previously I owned a Ford Bronco which after 10 years of driving I knew the ins and outs of when it came to repairs. Since Ford no longer makes the Bronco I decided I needed something just as reliable and let's face it the Explorer and Escape have had their issues and haven't had the best track record in reliability... I decided it was time to try something new and expand my horizons.
I had originally thought the idea of owning a Jeep Wrangler would be great, after all they too are build like tanks, but the absence of a little cargo space for my tools or anything else I might want to haul around did bother me. The Cherokee was a little larger than what I wanted, and so I settled on the Liberty.
So far I can say after 3 weeks i am happy with my decision, so I will be checking out this forum to learn all that I need to know in case I run into issues with my new Jeep. So for now, just thought I'd say hi and show you a picture of my old and new ride... As you can see, the cancer is slowly eating away at the body of the Bronco but what do you expect from a 24 year old truck.
Let's hope my Liberty gets to be around just as long...
Here's a few comparison pictures of my old Bronco and my New (to me) Liberty...
