mods
OME927 and OME948
RANCHO RS 9000 front and rear
3 conduit nuts clevis lift

i was going to buy the RSX, but my local dealer ofered me the RS 9000 for the same price, $280.00 usd for the 4.

for the coils i ordered and was a long waiting process for the shipment. 2 months before. $328.00 usd for the 4 in my door.

THIS IS BEFORE

AFTER

installation was son easy, zero problems. i got new brake pads, alligment and of course, installation of evreything. $170 usd

NEW TIRES AFTER SEARCHING ALOT, I DECIDED TO TRY THE DUNLOP ROVER M/T MAXX TRACTION LT245 75 R16
THIS TIRE IS COUSIN OF THE NEW GOODYEAR WRANGLER DURATRAC, AND THE REASON I INSTALLED THE DUNLOPS ARE:

1.-DURATRACTS ARENT FOR SALE IN MEXICO, JUST THE NORMAL WRANGLER ATS AND MTR.

2.-I WAS LOOKING FOR AN "HYBRID" TIRE, MORE AGRESSIVE AT AND LESS THAN M/T, BECAUSE THIS IS MY DD AND FAMILY CAR(11 MONTHS OLD BABY).

3.- I WAS ALSO LOOKING TOO FOR THE COOPER DISCOVERER ST, BUT HERE IN MEXICO YOU CAN ONLY GET P METRIC AND 15/32 TREAD DEPTH, I WAS MORE IN TO THE 18/32 DEPTH.

4.- NORMAL NOICE OF AND AT. SIMILAR TO BFG AT'S, AND FOR ME WAS A BIG ISSUE(FAMILY CAR)

5.- KILLER DEAL.. JUST $570.00 USD FOR THE 4 TIRES(WAS A PAY 3 GET 4 TIRES DEAL) BRAND NEW, OUT OF THE BOX, YOU NAME IT. ALSO CONSIDERED IN THE PRICE ALL BALANCE, NEW VALVES, INSURRANCE AGAINST EVERYTHING, HALF PRICE BALANCE DURING THE LIFE OF THE TIRE.

TOTAL INVESTMENT(IF YOU CAN CALL IT!)

COILS..............................$328.00
RANCHO...........................$280.00
TIRES...............................$570.00
6 CONDUIT NUTS..............$2.00

SUBTOTAL........................$1180.00

INSTALLATION..................$170.00
(included brake pads)

GRAND TOTAL............ $1350.00 USD

this forum help me alot. and this forum has a lot of followers from Mexico.

TRY http://www.jeeperos.com/foros/index.php for the spanish speakers

regards.....sorry for my spelling

and also considering that here in mexico we get the tires 30% more expensive than in US. $570 sounds normal prices for Arizona.

keep it up with the KK

Se ve bien
Mas o menos el costo en USA es el mismo

En cuanto a las llantas.... buen precio
Hay que ver como rinden...

THANKS ALL, BIG ACHIVEMENT FOR ME.

KJ-BOL:
fue muy dificil hacer que los precios me salieran parecidos a los de USA. respecto a las llantas, muy poco ruido, ya las probe en una salida de piedras filosas y sueltas y se portaron bien. este fin de semana las pruebo en la playa.

TOM:
did minor wheelin in sharp rock trails, felt great. minimun sound on asphalt. im going to the beach this weekend, and ill try sandy routes. how the duratracs felt after a while?, shouldnt we have a "review section" like jeepforum?

MURPHYMAN:
here's rancho #parts: front RS99764, rear RS99262. altough in the catalog says that are for other cars like gm avalanche. it has the same lenght of the RSX17505 AND RSX17004. no problems yet.

DURANGOTANG:
i live 2.5 hr driving south of the border of NOGALES ARIZONA. i live in HERMOSILLO, SONORA, MEXICO, just 1 hr to the beach. feel free to come any time to do some wheelin and epic MTB rides. if you're coming south, yo should also try "coopers canyon" in chihuhua.

Sorry in advanced to everyone else for speaking in spanish...

back to english...

Great Kj, as Diggerfreek said, lets see some trail pics!!
