Post subject:  New 08 KK to the group in Denver

Hey Guys,

My forum membership just got approved today so I wanted to say hi. I'm in the Denver, CO area and have been searching through the forums here looking at what's out there for the liberty for aftermarket mods.

I have a 2008 Jeep Green Liberty Limited edition with sky-slider, tow package and select-trac II. Upgrades done so far - K&N 77 Series CAI and Jet Performance chip. Upgrades to come - daystar 2" kit and I've just bidded on some Jeep Rubicon Moab 16" wheels with 245/75R/16 MT/Rs along some sort of new high-flow muffler (flowmaster 44 or 50?).

Let me know what your thoughts are on these mods. After reading the forums, I'm questioning the K&N vs. the AEM, but so far I've been fairly happy. I've also read a good deal about the Moab wheel fitment which seemed like a good option.

Have a good one!

Welcome.

Just so you know Digger is all excited for another local KK LOST member in the area.....   :P :P

Did yopu verify the Moab wheels are the right year? They changed bolt pattern in 2007 or 2008, I do believe.

Post subject:  Welcome to the board and please register your KK.

Welcome. Let's see some photos of your KK so far.

And if you've been lurking long, you already know I'm going to encourage you to register your KK type in the sticky poll near the top of the KK section.

Plus, hopefully you've also been checking out the on-going list of KK aftermarket parts/suppliers we've been building. Registering your KK model in the previously mentioned sticky poll will help us build our count of KK enthusiasts to help attract aftermarket suppliers to the KK.

Yeah, I made sure that the wheels are the 16" Moab's that ran up until 2006. I haven't picked them up yet, but the guy selling them verified they were the 5x4 1/2 pattern.

I have now registered in the poll and I've definately been checking out the aftermarket links put up there. It's a great list you guys have put together and hopefully more stuff will start to become available in the near future with all of us here.
