If you do not have the tools etc to do so you might consider the warranty.
Otherwise you should be good to go without it.
Plus you could save the money that would go toward the warranty and get some goodies for the KJ.

Just bought a 2005 Liberty Sport 4x4 auto with 51,000 miles. All stock. Plans are to put a front receiver hitch and adapt a bracket to tow behind my motorhome. Pretty hard finding a 4x4 here in southeast Louisiana, ending up finding one in Mississippi. Had a CJ-5 a few years ago just for playing in the mud. Does anybody think an extended warranty is worth it? Other than window regulators, ball joints, what other parts are problems? Don't plan to modify it, but do plan to use it off-road on trips, and probably won't put more than about 6 or 7000 miles/year. Thanks, Forest |
