pic taken a few hours after I finished putting the daystar on. Yes its kinda pathetic that its not a trail pic.

Future plans include: Rocklizard light duty rear bumper
Mossy Oak Vinyl wrap for the entire jeep
Arb Lockers front and rear
Wheeling like it is till rocklizard finishes their sfa bolt on kit

Post subject:  Re: Hello from Afghanistan

That actualy explains alot. I talked to Marty prior to my deployment when I bought the sliders and rack. I had also wanted the light duty rear bumper at the time but couldnt wait do to the deployment. Id been sending them email after email for the last couple of weeks and havent got a response. Guess its on to plan b, the trailready. Never been to woried about the SFA conversion its never been top on my list of things I have wanted to do to the jeep since it spends more time sitting at the edge of lakes and rivers than it does driving the trails to get me their. This jeep only was built because I spent a day digging the jeep out of some ruts I got high centerd in with a pocket knife. And it was fairly cheap to start considering the ARB bumper was only 50$ and a case of beer.

Wow, just read the posting on Rocklizards closure and im deeply touched. I definitly know how it feels when work gets in the way of family life considering I have a 5, 4, and 3 year old at home and Ive been deployed 3 times since my oldest was born.

i have to ask how does that thing ride with the arb and the daystar lift, how many miles do you have on it?

Author:  michaeljcluff [ Sun Feb 14, 2010 5:01 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Hello from Afghanistan

Rides great at the moment. Probably put between 2-3 thousand on it before I left. The jeep only had 15 thousand on it when I instaled it. I do expect some sag on it sooner or later but the daystar is just a temporary thing.
