Greets everyone

My family just recently acquired a used '05 Liberty CRD in Black as of 09-17-2010.
I have been perusing the forums here. Lots of information to absorb. Thing is I am not good with vehicles myself. I work with troubleshooting computers and technology consulting for wifi home/small biz networks and data storage solutions.
Family decided to go for the Liberty CRD, based on that my Dad always wanted a Jeep before he passed away (Aug 2008). So this was a strong influence in getting a Jeep. The aspect that it was a CRD (diesel) was bonus, since fuel prices for gas in my area of Scarborough/Toronto Ontario suck. That and for a change of pace, I wanted the extra height and view range while driving. Tired of being low in vehicle, past vehicles : '94 Geo Metro, '98 Mercury Mystique, '88 Dodge Caravan (this was okay), '85 Chevrolet Chevette.
Was just wondering on members thoughts on the SEGR mod. Is this a "must" if I am not doing off-road driving? I understand the mod for the EHM and the Provent. I also am planning on looking into the following :
NOTE : following items from Amsoil.com website.
100% Synthetic 5W-40 European Engine Oil Product Code: AFLQT-EA
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters Product Code: EAO34-EA
AMSOIL Ea Air Filters Product Code: EAA201-EA
WIX Automotive, Light Truck and Racing Fuel Filters Product Code: 33647-EA
Since I am on a tight budget, my first item will probably be the Amsoil air filter. The dealer stated an oil change was freshly done prior to our pickup of the vehicle last Friday 09-17-2010. I currently have Lucas Upper Cylinder Fuel treatment in the tank. Still on the first tank from the dealer (they put $25.00 CAD of diesel in). Was just under half tank when we picked it up.
Mainly driving for getting to client sites, and dealing with Toronto winter roads. No off-roading currently planned yet. Just interested in getting better-than-stock performance and better fuel economy from my CRD.
Are any members residing in the Markham/Toronto/Scarborough/Durham Regions of Ontario? I wouldn't mind sitting down over a coffee or hot chocolate to learn & discuss more in person. Also if anyone has any local contacts that can service the CRD liberty would be helpful. Please PM if you are nearby

Update : my CRD at purchase was at 92,844 miles and it did not come with the owner's manual. Also didn't come with the Privacy cover for the cargo area.
