Just wanted to introduce myself here. Tons of useful info on this friendly forum. One thing I've noticed is no matter how noobish a question is there isn't a backlash of flaming hatred from veteran members. That's refreshing unlike other forums I've been part of. Anyhow on to the KJ:

In 03 I joined the Postal Service and didn't have my own route. Each day I would get pieces of routes to deliver and I'd have to use my own vehicle which was a Honda Civic. Yeah, not too roomy for mail and parcels or good in the snow (Massachusetts). So in 04 I bought a Patriot Blue KJ 4x4 and delivered America's mail in it until I became regular and got my own route. Customers used to ask me if the Postal Service was using Jeeps again lol.

So 6 years later my KJ is paid off and only has 29K on it. I can't justify buying a new vehicle nor do I want to so why not customize it a bit? It's all stock with the exception of tail light guards and vent shades. So far the only thing I've done is buy a set of Firestone Destination AT's 235/70/16. Already looks better than the stock Goodyear crap 215 tires. I never liked those horrible tires anyway.

Over the next few months I plan on throwing on some soft 8's, grill guard and a lift. Still mulling over the lift options since there seem to be so many. So anyway I'll be around and it's good to know a valuable KJ resource exists!

And yeah with 29K I guess it is practically brand new. Guess I'll have the Liberty for years to come. No worries though, I'm sure there's plenty of companies out there who'll happily take my cash for mods!

Welcome! Great year for the KJ! same as mine, I have the same tires except mine are 245/75s on Moabs.
