Hello all,

I've been reading the forums for a little while now and a few weeks ago the wife and I decided to go ahead and find ourselves a CRD Limited. On a Saturday we went to look at one about an hour and a half away that sounded nice, but turned out to be a bit beat. Ended up finding one at a Toyota dealership the same day. Probably paid a bit too much, but it did have a fair amount of service history at the local Jeep dealerships and looks to be well taken care of. The next Sunday I did all of the "noob" services and it's running nicely.

Took it on a road trip and averaged about 28 with some in town and a small amount of off roading.

I did decide that it needs to have the thermostat replaced so I'm tossing around the idea of doing that myself or maybe having the dealer do it ($120 for the install).

Anyway, I'll playing around with it a bit although the wife drives it mostly so probably nothing too extreme.

Congratulations from an 06 CRD owner in AZ. and welcome. So, give us some info. on your CRD / year, model, milage, condition any options? You're milage is similar to what I get on mine, highway is 27-28. Have driven it on many long trips back to mid-west and to upper state WA. Mine is Limited model, stock with exception of EHM and K&N air filter. Owned since new and used throughout the year in desert driving on and off road.

Thanks! It's an 05 Limited, green and had 60K on it when we picked it up. Now just over 61K. Inside and out, it appears to have been well taken care of. It's got leather interior and the overhead thingy with the mileage calculation and home link. After getting it, I kind of wish we would have picked one up a few years ago, hah, hah....

I've got a couple of things that look modded that I'll want to run by someone, but I think it's going to take pictures. One appears to be possibly a trans temp setup to kick on the fan. Another I just noticed today that looks like a little breather filter, but not sure what it's for.

I do want to get the GDE Eco tune soon, and maybe later down the road a new TC and Eco Hot tune.
