I have been enjoying the wonderful expertise on this forum, and i'd like to thank all the contributing members, particularly OldNavy, for all the awesome technical guides, troubleshooting, and resource gathering that has been done here.

I have a 2006 Liberty CRD Sport that I bought Oct. 30, 2010, with no idea how special this car was or the "mess" I was getting myself into. I found it in Mass. with 108K on it. I have been doing lots of studying and research since then, and now that the snow has melted, the mod dreams are becoming reality.

Kennedy Diesel Lift Pump

I had a couple questions pertaining to a couple mods that are up and coming, specifically the lift pump and EHM/Provent mod.

First, is there much difference between the Raptor and kennedy diesel lift pumps, besides the price? I was told by my mechanic to stay away from the Walbro FRB-5 that someone had suggested, and go with a Raptor, but he had never heard of kennedy diesel.

Second, does the EHM mod throw a CEL, or will it just not pass emissions? As I understand it, a Provent mod will avoid this issue, correct? On that note, is Racor or Provent preferred? Does anyone have experience with the PICOFLEX?
