My husband and I currently have a 1997 Grand Cherokee Laredo with nearly 330k miles on her, and still going! We are seriously considering the CRD to take over for her, and to gain some mpgs for our 50 mile commute (one way) to work each day. We were looking at some diesel passenger cars, but when I discovered that Jeep actually had a diesel in the Liberty, our search changed. I am thrilled to be able to search for another Jeep! Once I "convinced" my husband that a Passat or Jetta probably would not tow his boat, he jumped on board! He's a big Jeep fan from way back, and has a 1980 Jeep J10 (that is still running) and had a CJ5 at one time.
